A stunt he'd pull again in TNA like ten years later with British Invasion. Forgotten aspect of Russo is the toxicity of interpromotional relations, so the Forbidden Door Era must be so confusing.

I may have forgotten hearing this already but according to the 24 inch podcast, (via 83 weeks) the Fingerpoke of Doom was to lead to Hogan vs Goldberg live on NBC opposite of WM 15 (to replace the NBA which was potentially still going to be on strike by that point.)

I find it odd that I may have legit saw WCW Sat Night maybe 10 times or so live on TV, but I associate the same music to it thanks to tape trading and watching a handful of VHS tapes my neighbor shared back in 1993ish.

I hope you folks like potatoes. Saw this result on HistoryofWWE and had to look to see if it was on YouTube. I know heel Vs heel matches were infrequent in the early '90s but it seems especially weird for this era of WCW.

What's the date? Barb definitely did a babyface run in 93 (I'm pretty sure I had him vs Rip Rogers on something like that on one of my random VHS tapes from my neighbor. ) I'd look it up myself but I'm laser focused on a little project ATM.
