When I read the note on wikipedia about it, it made it sound like SA1 and Crazy Taxi was just the beginning of making the Dreamcast library available. Hopefully that means Seaman is around the corner.

Speaking of Crazy Taxi (which I think comes out in November, damn these are taking too long) I just read that it will at least be in wide screen, unlike Sonic. Though I'm still not buying it if I don't see the magic words "custom soundtrack."

Even then I'm not sure, as I really don't like how Pizza Hut because pizza place or whatever and same with KFC. STOP RUINING MY NOSTALGIA!

Can't you just use the custom soundtrack feature through the Dashboard?

Picked up Bayonetta and Spider-Man: Web of Shadows pre-owned today [Spidey ended up being free cause I also got Mario Strikers Charged]. Played a bit of Bayonetta before the one time I rented it before, so I'm ready to continue that. As for Web, a friend of mine said it was pretty good and somewhat similar to the only other Spidey game I played: Ultimate Spider-Man [Which I liked].

I can confirm I took advantage of this and got Fable 2 for free. The proof? In Fable 2 Episodes, you can't earn any achievements until you buy Episode 2. Go look at my profile, I've got a few bleep bloops unlocked. And take my word that I didn't pay.
They changed the description to "FABLE II Episode 1 (of 5)", with a 2GB download. Except what I downloaded that day was not described as an episode, and is about 6.6GB.

I've already got 2 physical copies of the LE, and the audio pack download that was available in Canada that apparently includes the LE content. So all of that is taking up a fairly un-necessary 7.5GB on my hard drive, and I don't think I can delete and re-download it. Ah well.

I should just move stuff I'm not going to actually use any time soon, but can't re-download, to my 20GB hard drive. Between Fable II, NHL 10 demo, Fallout 3 GotY expansions, maybe a bunch of themes, that's probably at least 10GB.

My understanding is that they've had the episode version of Fable II up for a long time (I remember seeing it for download way earlier this year) and that they fucked up on Friday for a couple of hours and had the full game up for free, when it was supposed to be $19.99, which it is now.

If I check out all of the downloads for Fable II, the full game is at $34.99CAD (lol), and I don't even see anything episode-related.

http://marketplace.xbox.com/games/media/66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d8024d5307f1/

OK, scratch that. Now "FABLE II Episode 1 (of 5)"--but not the one I "purchased"--is at the top of the page, at $34.99. -_- Someone needs to get their shit together.

I got to see a demo a couple weeks ago for the Kinect coming out this holiday season. It's pretty sweet.

I really wish I had never signed up for this dashboard beta. There's nothing wrong with the dashboard...but SEVEN fucking times I've had to download an update of the fucking thing. A full update. A long fucking 10 minute download update. SEVEN fucking times.

Now...this would have been fine if Time Warner had ESPN3 and I could use that feature for more than clips...but until a couple of days ago...they didn't.

So today I went through the added steps (because nothing on TWC can ever be easy) to get ESPN3.com up and running on my computer. That done I turned on my 360...downloaded the fucking SEVENTH dashboard update (this one only took 2 minutes at least) and clicked on ESPN3 ready to enjoy my spoils.

Still doesn't give me access. It warns me when I click it that it requires XBoxLive Gold (check!) an affiliated ISP (check!) and possible extra steps depending on provider (che...wait...what the fuck?) So ok...no problem. The computer made me log in a TWC account that I had to create to prove that I have ESPN on my cable (in 2010...seriously...the percentage of people who don't have ESPN is high enough that they think this step is needed?) I would gladly take that step again through the dashboard to get my streaming live HD sports!

...

If there was a place to fucking do it.

Maybe after dashboard beta update fucking EIGHT.

I saw an article linked on one of the gaming sites today about how Activision came very close to buying Rare when Microsoft ultimately ended up selling to Microsoft for $375 million. I just now realized that I've bought one game they made since then and it was Conker: Live and Reloaded. Have they put out anything worth playing in the last 8 years?

The only worthwhile things they've put out were just ports of better, older games like Banjo Kazooie and Perfect Dark. The first Viva Pinata wasn't terrible...but if that's the best they can do for 375 million...oops. Those ports would have come out anyway.

Apparently the company behind Game Room closed down operations. The last pack is supposed to have Sunset Riders in it and then that's it.

Good concept but there was just to many shitty games that came out when Game Room first came out. I don't think I've played Game Room since Pit-Fall got released.

Off of Yahoo:

Xbox gamer passes half-million milestone

114-xbox-gamer-passes-half-million-milestone

by: Ben Silverman

Achievement points have been with Xbox 360 gamers since the console debuted in 2006. It's a simple idea: pack every game made for the system -- including retail releases, smaller downloadable titles and expanded content -- with a number of specific challenges. Accomplishing these nets you points which are cumulatively tracked as your overall Gamerscore. It's been hailed as a game-changing feature, one so addictive and brilliant, it's been copied by everyone from Sony (Trophies) to Apple (the newly released Game Center).

And no one has achieved more than Stallion83.

The 27 year-old Tennessee man already made a mark on his favorite hobby when he was officially recognized by Guinness World Records for having the highest Xbox 360 Gamerscore in the world. But where most players would hang up their controllers after such an accomplishment, Stallion83 is just getting started.

His goal? To reach 1 million points. And as of October 25th, he's officially halfway there, cracking the awe-inspiring 500,000 point mark while playing a Wallace and Gromit game -- not exactly the hardest game around, but hey, it counts.

"The toughest achievements for me would have to be some of the ones found in the Guitar Hero games," he told Y! Games. "I still haven't managed to become a master at it, not even close. Once I crank it up to expert difficulty, I know the game is laughing at me. I just need to put the practice in."

Practice? That's a scary thought. Each Xbox 360 retail game maxes out at 1000 Achievement points, while smaller downloadable titles typically yield 200. To reach 500,000, Stallion83 has played an absolutely insane 683 games and pretty much mastered most of them. (To put that number in perspective, a quick scan of my Xbox Live friends list -- many of whom are game journalists who play daily -- shows most players hovering between 25,000 and 60,000, with a few above 80,000.)

So does he play constantly?

"It really depends on what I am playing and how much I am enjoying a certain game," he said. "If it is a game I really enjoy, I can play it for a long, long stretch of time. However, I do not play non-stop like some people would imagine. I have just stuck with it for almost four years now -- consistency is key. Some days I will play for 8 hours, other days it may be 10 minutes."

Some might consider his 1 million point mission -- which is chronicled on his blog -- to be a bit obsessive. But Stallion83 points out that that what he does is really no different from anything else and that his friends and family have been quite supportive.

"Nobody has given me a hard time over it, because it's what I enjoy doing," he said. "I love Xbox Live and gaming. In the world we live in, everybody does something that they love. Whether it is watching TV, tending to their garden (real or fake), making sure their 1966 Ford Mustang is spotless, or reading their favorite authors. Me, I like to play games."

I want to know how many he got through using XSada...because if he's got a fuckin 1000/1000 on Dead Rising in a single day or something like that, I call bullshit.

I've seen this tag before on a webpage I've checked when I've been having difficulty getting achievements I am working on trying to unlock and supposedly this guy is one hundred percent legit. The same forum scours for people unlocking them wrongfully and gets them reported/removed but this guy supposedly has been verified.

Amazing got my last one in Twinkle Park fairly quickly, so then I go to try for the 2000g fish in emerald coast. I fight with this fucker for 15 minutes, finally get him in...and it weight 1970. DEATH TO BIG.

Probably. But since I like the sonic/metal sonic stages those will be fairly easy and even fun, unlike say...BIG YOU FUCKING RETARD CAT DIE DIE DIE.

The 60 DX missions though, meh probably not.

Eh, the only really pain in the but non fishing DX mission is the Sonic Ice Cap zone one where you have to time ramp jumps at the end just right to pass a certain point. The others are pretty easy. Then again I never had much trouble with Big's emblems.

That's the one mission I never finished on the gamecube version. The difference is there I had the motivation of unlocking gamegear games, no real motivation to do it on the xbox one.
