Brooklyn Zoo said:I can't do that, fixing sliders and stuff. Not because I feel like it's cheating, but because it makes you feel like the computer won. That's why, no matter how fucked up and convoluted games could be, I'll always play All-Madden as it is and just GRIND IT OUT.
Harley Quinn said:Just did a fantasy draft as the Seattle Seahawks for Franchise Mode. Nothing will ever be as much fun as being Pete Carroll and honing in on as many USC players as possible. Wherever else, I just grabbed younger Pac-10 players.
USC players grabbed: QB Matt Leinart, QB Matt Cassel, RB Stafon Johnson, FB Mike Williams (converted from WR), WR Joe McKnight (converted from RB), WR Steve Smith, WR Dwayne Jarrett, WR Ronald Johnson, TE Fred Davis, G Nick Howell, C Ryan Kalil, DT Fili Moala, FS Cary Harris, and K David Buehler

01: Annoyed that the main screen in Franchise is always the Next Game screen. Made even more annoying when it goes back to that after every thing you do (FA, Release Guys, etc.)
02: Amazed I never gave "Very Fast" a try before. Looks a ton like a real NFL game in terms of speed, reaction time, etc. Passing is still doable but you have to take what the D gives you.
03: May need to tweak my sliders some. Playing on 9 minute quarters but have been killing the NYG 17-0 at the half even on All-Pro.

Kinda.
- Scouting = Meh (I've gotten to the point where I let the CPU do it).
- Sim Stats = Somewhat wonky as usual... fucking EA hates simmers.
- Cut Days = I just go by OVR so it doesn't matter a whole lot. The fun is grabbing other guys cut.
- FA = Can be a dull aspect. Having to "wait" out the 1:30 - 4:00(!) clock is annoying as hell at times, especially when you're signing 10-15 players. I do love the contract concept and deciding between front loaded, even, or back loaded when it comes to the Salary Cap.
