Muramasa is a fun side scrolling action game with very nice colorful graphics. Mario Galaxy 2, Mario Kart Wii and Skyward Sword are also worth picking up.

Donkey Kong Country Returns is really good. Mario Strikers Charged is really fun with more than one player.

Waluigi isn't in Mario Kart 7. Good. I hate that guy.

I tend to always pick him in Mario based sports games.

What are the must own Wii games? So far I have Skyward Sword, Super Mario Galaxy, and New Super Mario Brothers

I may be the only one to do so but I would heartily vouch for Geometry Wars Galaxies and Excitebots.

Donkey Kong Country Returns. Do you like baseball games? Get MLB PowerPros if you do.

So Nintendo lost half a billion dollars last year. The 3DS seems to be somewhat catching on, but the Wii has sunk like a stone in the last 18 months. If the Wii U doesn't take off I wouldn't be surprised to see them go the Sega route on consoles by 2014.

Where did you read that? Also was it a loss of 1/2 bil or they were down 1/2 bil in their earnings? Also, I don't think there'll be an issue with the 3DS and Wii U making money for Nintendo.

That is AWESOME! I don't have a 3DS, but I will buy the shit out of a copy of that when I come across one!

Normally I'd find that fairly amusing, and I still do, but given their whole 'this game is so BIG and EPIC and BLAH BLAH BLAH we feel it's worth charging an extra $10 for' spiel, you'd think they could get the fucking name right.

Nintendo are revamping their online service, now called the Nintendo Network. The logo looks like an RSS icon. This possibly brings them up to speed with XBL and PSN five years too late, much like how the Wii U is a console on par with 360 and PS3 five years too late.

From what I've heard, they've changed it so it'll actually be $40, like other games. Also, The Wii U will be more advanced than the 360 and the ps3...just probably won't be as advanced as their replacements.

Techwise, the most exciting thing so far is the reveal that the controller will have an NFC chip in it.

Anyone ever mod their Wii? I haven't touch my Wii since October so I figured I might mod to to play burned games, or games from an SD card. I'm looking online and seeing a few different ways of doing it. Anyone have any recommended mods, or at least, ones to avoid?

I did it. I was actually suprised everything went according to plan for me (normally something goes wrong. I'm sure they've improved the modding process by now, so just follow the online notes . I personally use Uloader, but again, I say there are better/(prettier) loaders now.

Got the Circle Pad Pro for my 3DS today. Feels good. Basically about as exciting as this sentence, but it does what it says it does. Feels okay in the hands, no real weight. Makes it wider than what I am used to holding. R button is odd to hit in front of new ZR trigger.
