Namco Bandai updated the teaser site for the mysterious Capcom/Namco/Sega 3DS project with ... well, some more teasing. Each "petri dish" now has three x-shaped chromosome-like objects that appear to be color-coded to recall certain characters from that company's stable. We see what appears to be Kite from .hack on the Namco side (the orange, grey, and blue one) and possibly Klonoa (the blue and yellow one); a possible Zero on the Capcom side, and what might be Bayonetta in the Sega dish.

As for what all this means ... without more information on the game itself, it's difficult to determine anything about the potential presence of these crossover characters.

I'm calling another Namco x Capcom (with x Sega added in) SRPG.

Is the 3DS virtual console linked to the Wii version? IE: can I download games (within console limitations) that I've purchased on the Wii to a 3DS?

Punch-Out!! (with Mr. Dream) is out on the 3DS virtual console for $4.99. Expect the usual chorus of bitching about how it's not the Mike Tyson version.

Still can't beat Great Tiger, and the size of the screen is doing me no favours in seeing the gem flash (and this was also after I watch over 30 minutes of turotial videos to learn about "proper punching" and other things). I have "proper punching" down since that requires no real timing but I need way more practice on everything else.

Tiger was harder than normal because I couldn't see the flashing gem, but once he got to doing uppercuts he was my bitch.

Yeah I have to depend on that pattern, but unfortunately I use the analog stick and tend to slip up when I think I'm about to win and dodge when I want to block the Tiger Punch (which honestly I'm just now getting the hang of the timing to block the 5 strikes).

I found a copy of Metroid Prime Trilogy today, the first time I've seen it at a store in a long time. Even though I already I have it, I bought it since people seem to be buying it for $90+ on eBay.

Found another one today. My last one sold for $86, but it seems like its going for a bit more now than it did 6 months ago.

I've been finding Wii games really cheap lately. Red Steel 2 and Sin & Punishment for $9.99 each, Boy & His Blob for $7.50. Today, I found Punch Out (non-Nintendo Selects version) for $4.99. I would have liked this more if I hadn't just spent $20 on it a few weeks ago.

The weird thing was, they had the Nintendo Selects version of Punch Out on the other side of the rack for $20.

A while back I managed to break my newly gotten 3DS by dropping it onto some snow. The 3D screen broke specifically. I didn't drop it hard, and the snow was really piled up that day and soft from just falling. Like my 3DS made an imprint into the snow.

Are they that fragile?

Mine has taken its share of bumps, and my wife's has been dropped a few times, but neither show signs of any damage.

I always thought that the 3DS was weaker due to having more screens, and that danged hinge. As a kid, I dropped my brick gameboy more than 100 times and it never stopped working at all.

Whereas I managed to break my creamy spinach color brick within a week of getting it. Seriously, I got it for Christmas, and before Christmas Break was over we had to have it repaired because I dropped it. The screen didn't crack, but something inside broke and it was just displaying gibberish.

Finally beat the Perfect Run on Super Mario Galaxy 2 after two years. God damn the level's a pain in the ass.

I'm attempting a full-on playthrough of Ocarina of Time for the first time, well, ever. I've played it many times, and almost always lose interest around the time I get the Master Sword. I'm gonna try my best to finish it this time!

Wait till you get to the Water Temple, then you'll lose interest.
(Ok I got lost in there a lot. Also, I needed a strategy guide to beat the game.)

Nah. What also pisses me off is when you get a map and compass and it tells you what it does. Okay the functions haven't changed at all since the last dungeon.
